Fashion Insider Agent. Last updated 22 October 2026.

This page explains what personal data Fashion Insider Agent collects, why, who helps us process it, how long we keep it and what you can do about it.

1. Who is responsible

The controller of your data is Emily Varvarenko, trading as Emily Varr / Fashion Insider, based in Belgium. Contact for anything about your data: emilyvarr.pr@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

  • Account: your name and email address, and how you signed up.
  • Your CV and answers: the CV file and its text, or the answers you type in the CV form, the target role, brand and job description, your answers about the job's responsibilities, and an optional photo for the designed CV.
  • Chats: your messages in the CV Audit chat and in Ask Fashion Insider, and the answers you receive.
  • Results: audits, scores, the list of what stays on your CV, and the CVs and cover letters generated for you.
  • Content Strategy: the Instagram handle you enter and the public profile data and posts we read from it.
  • Subscription: your plan, its status and dates. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.
  • Usage and errors: how many audits and messages you used, which pages of the app were opened, and technical error reports.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

  • To provide the service you signed up for (audits, CVs, chats, content strategy, account, subscription): performance of our contract with you (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
  • To keep the service working and safe (error reports, usage limits, abuse prevention, page statistics): our legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Service emails about your trial and a one-question email after you cancel: our legitimate interest. Reply to say stop and we stop.
  • Billing records: legal obligation under accounting and tax law (art. 6(1)(c)).

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

4. Who helps us process it

  • Base44: hosts the app, stores the data, sends emails and runs the AI models that write audits, CVs and answers.
  • Stripe: takes payments and manages subscriptions.
  • PDFShift: turns your CV into a PDF file when you download it.
  • ScrapeCreators: reads the public Instagram profile you ask us to analyse.

Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area. Where data leaves the EEA, the transfer relies on the safeguards these providers offer under the GDPR, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Who can see your data

Only you can see your audits, CVs, chats and content strategies in the app. The site owner can access them for support and to fix problems. Your CV file and photo are kept in private storage and are opened only through short-lived links when the app needs them.

6. How long we keep it

  • Your account, audits, CVs, chats and content strategies: as long as your account exists, until you delete them.
  • A CV form started without signing up and never finished: deleted after 30 days.
  • Technical error reports: deleted after 90 days.
  • Billing records: kept by Stripe for as long as accounting and tax law requires.

7. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or download your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format.

Do it yourself: on My Audits, under "Your data", you can download everything we hold about you or delete it. Deleting also cancels an active subscription. The login account and your Ask Fashion Insider chat history are then removed by us within 30 days.

Or email emilyvarr.pr@gmail.com. We answer within one month.

You can also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), www.dataprotectionauthority.be, or to the authority in your own country.

8. AI and automated results

Audits, scores, CV texts and chat answers are written by AI models from what you give us. They are suggestions, not decisions about you. Nothing is removed from or added to your CV unless you confirm it. Always check a CV before you send it.

9. Cookies and storage on your device

The app stores only what it needs to work: your login session and small notes such as an unfinished audit or your current chat, so you can continue where you left off. Page statistics are counted on our server without advertising or tracking cookies. There are no ads, pixels or third-party trackers.

10. Changes

If we change how we use your data, we update this page and the date at the top.
